Getting the right suppliers is something we put a lot of time and effort into here at Mountain and Tradition. There are a few key things we look for when making these decisions:
It goes without saying, but to make the best dishes we need the best ingredients. Traceability is a large part of this - knowing who produced the ingredients we use, and where.
Reducing our environmental impact is core to everything we do here at Mountain & Tradition, including in selecting the suppliers we work with. We use the principle of voting with our feet, and make sure we support the companies that are working hard to reduce their environmental impact too. (Find out more about our Ecolabel Certification).
This has lead us to more and more local suppliers, some right in Les Gets. Focusing on our locality has worked very well, as it so often goes hand-in-hand with quality, traceability and reduced the environmental impact. Below you'll find some of our favourite suppliers we'd like to highlight, along with why we have selected them to work with.
