About Mountain & Tradition

Jana and Raph met in Dublin in 2005. They moved to Les Gets to start Mountain & Tradition in 2008. Jana who was born in Estonia, has many years of experience in the service sector all over Europe. She looks after the recruitment and the reservation sides of the company.

Raph was born and raised in Les Gets and knows everything there is to know about our beloved region. Raph, having worked in renowned restaurants in Europe, is the Executive Chef of the company and prides himself in our chalet's cuisine. Nothing leaves Chef Raphael's kitchens unless it is sure to impress.

When they aren't working they fill their winters with skiing with their two boys and their summers hiking or engrossed in the Tour de France! Alpine lodge and Alpine Loft, originally built by Raph's grandfather at the end of the 60s is their renovated family home.

Ash Started working with M&T as a host in 2017 with a strong background in hospitality and tourism and dabbled for a time in real estate sales.

She has since joined the management team here at Mountain & Tradition. She takes care of the guest relations part of the company. Ashleigh looks after the organisational side of your holiday, making sure everything is in place so you can sit back, relax and enjoy.

Ashleigh is originally from Australia and has happily swapped the ocean for mountains! When she isn't working she spends her winters snowboarding and her summers exploring the Portes du Soleil on foot.
