Lac des Ecoles swimming lake is a well-known spot in Les Gets, and a superb playground for families. The lake is fed by a mountain stream, and part of that has been diverted to make a water slide into the lake. The lake is monitored by lifeguards to guarantee everyone's safety. The days and times are indicated at the entrance of the lake. The average water temperature is 22°C in July and August
This leisure area has everything you need for a dream day in the great outdoors, including a large grassy beach, self-service barbecue, slide, Wibit Park (inflatable games on the water), multi-sports and beach volleyball courts, fitness modules, ping-pong tables and a playground, etc. Swimming is supervised by lifeguards. The lake is accessible on foot, by GetsLib' (self-service electric bikes) or by a free shuttle bus.
The Lac des Ecoles lifeguards can give swimming lessons in the pool area. There is also 8 keep-fit modules, located around the lake for you to enjoy your fitness: Cross Trainer, rowing machine, cross-country ski simulator & abdominal trainer!
The leisure centre at "Lac des Ecoles" has a new recreational facility. Equipped with various modules, water jets and other refreshing elements, this water fun park is sure to keep the youngest amused and splashing around for hours… More information about the water park can be found here (in French).
Come and enjoy a fun family day out at the beautiful Ecoles Lake! The Les Gets Wibit Waterpark is an exciting floating water play area made up of forty inflatable modules. Suitable for children over 8 years old who can swim, the modules include: obstacle courses, a giant slide, water climbing walls, a human catapult ou encore cage à singe amongst others.
The KidsPark, for children aged 4 to 8 years who can swim, is a course designed and reserved exclusively for little ones so that they can enjoy themselves safely on fun, age-appropriate modules. Enjoy some family fun at the Lac des Ecoles!
Please note that access to the Wibit Waterpark is exclusively reserved for holders of an Ecoles Lake pass. A lifejacket will be provided for the duration of the activity - Please check out the safety rules before entering Les Gets' aquatic Wibit park and the KidsPark.
About 10 minute's drive from Les Gets is the Morzine Pool Complex (access to which is included with the Multi Pass Premium).
Firstly there's the outdoor section including a 50 pool, 21m splash pool, water slide and padding pool. Being outside here on a hot summer's day is a wonderful way to spend time on a family holiday, especially with the mountain surroundings as well.
The brand new indoor area has just opened too containing a kids play pool. There's also a beginner's pool and a 25meter main pool.
Aquariaz is brand new indoor aquatic centre based in Avoriaz, which is very popular with families.
It makes a great half day out for families, and combined with all the other activities Avoriaz has to offer in summer, you can spend a wonderful day is this mountain top resort. Avoriaz is 20 - 25 mins drive from Les Gets.
Access to Aquariaz is included in the Multi Pass Premium, as is other activities in Avoriaz should you decide to spend the whole day there.
